Hello everybody! I hope you're having a nice Sunday evening and that you've had a great weekend. I've done quite a lot of baking this week and I'm going to share with you one of my favourite Summer recipe.

Disclaimer: This recipe is not of my own creation, I found it on Kivi's blog (in Czech). I've used this recipe quite a few times already and I tend to alter it a little bit but it's great. Below, I'm going to describe the version I'm making.

Hope you've had a lovely week and you're about to have an even better weekend. I've spent this week at home, sick but last week, I managed to move the majority of my belongings to my boyfriend's place which we now inhabit together and I couldn't be happier.

Life Lately│Gym clothes, food & books

Hello everyone!

Long time no see, right? I don't even know why, to be honest. I think it's a mix of two things; I didn't feel quite motivated to blog and so many changes were happening in the crazy shiz that is my life that blogging didn't even come to my mind, I guess.
Anyway,  not that my life is going to be much calmer now, it seems like quite the opposite, but I want to try harder and blog more. We'll see how that goes!
Finally, here are some snippets of my Life Lately; fashion (such as my new gym gear, yuss!), food (rice porridge made from chocolate flavoured coconut milk topped with fruit is my absolute favourite right now), books (I've fallen in LOVE with the Rivers of London series by Ben Aaronovitch. SO good. I might do a separate post about those soon.) and silly selfies with hats.

Life lately│Food, spring, and a little fashion

Hi everyone!
I've finally got around to writing this random kind of post again! I really like reading this type of posts on other people's blog or watching videos like this, and I haven't done this in a while, so I thought why not!

1. Studying Macroeconomics with the help of a giant Soy caramel frappuccino and some frozen raspberries | 2. Berry & hibiscus Refresha | 3. A yummy breakfast with my boyfriend on a day off | 4. Mac n' cheese in an American style diner with my Dad and my brother | 5. Home made sweet potato chips and tzatziki with some fresh veggies and balsamico dressing | 6. An afternoon snack with an ice-cold Somersby cider

1., 2., 3. Spring can be really lovely here in Prague.

1. I DIYed these trousers and thought they would go really well with my G'n'R tee | 2. One of my favourite clothing items | 3. And one of my favourite necklaces | 4. Bought my first pair of Doc Martens and wore them with my favourite tights! | 5. And I keep making flowercrowns and people seem to like them, yay!

New in│Drugstore mix + little info in Czech

Hi guys! I know I haven't been aruond much, but at first, I was busy with life /again/ and then the exams started so...you know how it goes. Anyway, here is a quite boring drugstore mini haul and I promise you that the next post will be more interesting!

I want to try to lighten my hair again after a year and something of not dying it (except for semi-permanent dyes) and I liked this colour plus it was on sale so I got two boxes for one prize, so I hope it's decent!
Also I needed some facial wash, hence the Balea one. I liked the pink packaging and it was pretty cheap, so if it doesn't turn out to be good for me, I'll just pass it on or throw it away without feeling all too guilty.
On to the Catrice products. I've really liked Catrice lately, so I decided to give these a try. I can always a good brow product and don't have any tinted brow gels in my collection, so I got this brown one. Waterproof eyeliner is a thing I use almost at daily basis and I wanted to switch from my regular Essence one (which is great but I need some change in my life, do you feel me?). The last product is a thing I've been on a hunt for like, forever. I tried it once now and it seems pretty good for using on my waterline, yay!
The last thing I got are those two flapjacks, originally, I didn't want to include them but the packaging is too cute!

Pro holky, vyskytující se v Praze; v přízemí Debenhams na Václaváku je poměrně nově /alespoň podle mě.?/ Douglas, a hned u vchodu je hrozně nenápadnej regál Nyx, což jsem teda uz nás nikde jinde neviděla. Včera vypadal dost vybraně, ale pro mě to byl zajímavej objev :) A měli krásně světlý makeupy!

Life lately│Birthday, vegan baking and so on

Good evening, everyone! Today is my 22nd birthday, it's weird, I don't really feel like 22 yet but who am I to complain, right? Today was a little too rushed for my liking but my Mom came back home from her knee surgery in hospital, so I was really glad. In the afternoon, I met up with my friends Barbara and John and we headed to a cupcake-business-related meeting with our logo/website creator, a crazy-talented guy! Afterwards, I managed to buy birthday presents (long live Lush!) for my friends Jules and Misha whom we're having a bday party with tomorrow. Also I popped at Marks&Spencer to buy some Halloween candy, can't wait for Halloween as I love it to death.

Some of my presents and a manicure I created with the Sephora kit, it was cool but I couldn't have stopped picking at the studs, what a little kid I am.

The first time I'd ever baked vegan stuff. It was pretty tricky, especially the frosting but the result was quite tasty. I still need to perfect it, though.

They give free Lindt bears in our local grocery store when you shop there, I've had so many lately.

 

This is such a food post. I love donuts and haven't had any in so long. This was a banana one. Plus I love fruit and this was my pre-gig snack - dragonfruit, grapes and pomegranate (my favourite fruit ever).

One of the reasons I love going to hardcore shows is the atmosphere; like one big family. We went to see our friends Empty Hall of Fame and a band called Eat Me Fresh I hadn't seen before. I was really tired after running errands and our own band practising that day but I had a great time anyway. Also I managed to lose my ear plugs. I keep losing them like crazy.

I think the next post will be lipstick-themed because I bought total of 6 lip products last few weeks. Talk about obsession. Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend, I'm now enjoying my fruit salad and waiting for my bandmates to arrive, we're playing a gig in a couple hours. Tomorrow I'm planning on baking vegan cupcakes, wish me luck with that!

Life lately

As my birthday slowly approaches, I can’t help myself but feel a little sad. I’m like that, every year, don’t know why, though. Days are getting shorter and darker and Uni starts in less than a month.

So I treated myself a bunch of cute stuff. The pink cableknit sweater and the rose scarf are both from H&M, peach & almond body lotion is from Marks&Spencer, double earrings from Six and I found my little Cottonflower Sephora perfume I completely forgot I’d had (so it counts as new as well, haha). I also bought powder pink slippers at F&F for the colder months to arrive.

I couldn’t have resisted a box of Chai tea bags at M&S, either. So now I’m listening to The Grates whom I rediscovered today, painting my nails pale pink and going to have some Chai teda afterwards while watching Gigolos. Coziness for the win!
